Lutron Electronics seeks a Field Services Specialist to join our team serving the New York City area. You will be the face of Lutron at customer sites, ensuring our lighting and shading systems are commissioned and maintained.

The role requires strong electro-mechanical experience, exceptional customer service, and the ability to work independently across diverse commercial sites with 30% travel. Starting pay ranges from $82,000 to $97,000 per year, plus overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years electro-mechanical or related field experience required.
• Proficiency with Outlook/Teams and Microsoft apps.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional on-site customer service and technical expertise at Lutron client sites.
• Master commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of Lutron Commercial Systems per field service protocols.
• Coordinate and manage site visits with contractors, facility managers, and stakeholders for accurate installation and integration.
• Operate independently across diverse commercial job sites, adapting to fast-paced environments and shifting priorities.
• Support lifecycle of Lutron products including diagnostics, repairs, user training, and system upgrades.
• Act as SME for legacy systems, guiding clients and internal teams.
