Job summary

Lutron Electronics seeks a Field Services Specialist to join our Washington DC area team. You will be the face of Lutron at customer sites, ensuring our lighting and shading systems are commissioned and maintained, while delivering exceptional service throughout the lifecycle.

You will diagnose and repair systems, coordinate site visits, and guide customers and internal teams. A 5+ year electro-mechanical background, strong computer skills, and travel up to 30% are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electro-mechanical field experience.
• Proficient in computer operations and basic networking.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Willing to travel ~30% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site customer service and technical support.
• Commission, troubleshoot, and repair Lutron Commercial Systems.
• Coordinate site visits with contractors and facilities teams.
• Work independently across diverse commercial job sites.
• Support diagnostics, repairs, training, and upgrades.
• Act as SME for legacy systems and guide clients.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams.
