Job summary

Lutron Electronics is seeking a Field Services Specialist to join our Washington DC area team. You will be the face of Lutron at customer sites, overseeing on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of our lighting and shading systems.

The role requires 5+ years in electro-mechanical fields, travel up to 30%, and a valid driver's license. Starting pay ranges from $73,000 to $78,000 per year plus overtime, bonus, and car allowance, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
5+ years electro-mechanical/related field experience.
Proficient with Outlook/Teams and Microsoft tools; basic networking a plus.
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel up to 30%.
Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site support and technical expertise at customer sites.
Commission, troubleshoot, and repair all Lutron Commercial Systems.
Coordinate and manage site visits with stakeholders.
Operate independently across diverse commercial job sites.
Support full lifecycle of Lutron products, including training and upgrades.
Serve as SME for legacy systems and products.
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to improve service delivery.
