Job summary

Vallen Distribution, Inc is seeking a Service Technician I to perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on Life Safety equipment for established customers in the Pasadena area. You will conduct service calls, identify equipment discrepancies and prepare accurate reports while ensuring all documentation is complete for invoicing.

The role requires High School or GED, 1 year related experience, and certifications, plus TWIC and Basic Safety Council cards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 certification (manufacturer/state).
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• TWIC card and Basic Safety Council card required.
• Mechanically inclined and able to read/understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance and repairs on safety equipment.
• Conduct service calls and identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Provide customer service related to life safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, gas detectors, respiratory gear, fall protection, shower/eyewash).
• Ensure testing/repair documentation is complete and submitted for invoicing.
• Maintain required documentation copies for customers.
• Assist in warehouse tasks as needed and ensure timely repairs within 80% productivity window.
