Job summary

Vallen USA is seeking a Service Technician I to perform inspections, testing and maintenance of safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis. You will inspect, test, and repair life safety gear including fire extinguishers, gas detectors, respirators, fall protection, and showers.

The role requires high school or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, and the ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1-year related experience in maintenance/repair work preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to perform repairs and maintenance on safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls for safety equipment inspections, testing and repairs.
• Identify equipment discrepancies and document findings.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets and reports for invoicing.
• Ensure proper documentation is provided to customers and stores.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and Vallen SOPs; follow safe work practices.
