Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory safety services in the Vallen Safety Services group. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include service calls, equipment verification, documentation, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/NFPA standards. Requires high school education, at least one certification, and a valid driver license; CDL may be

Formación

• Experience in Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair of Safety Equipment.
• Ability to repair and service equipment sold by Vallen North America.
• Current Motor Vehicle License with good driving record.
• Commercial Driver's License required if carrying loads of hazardous materials.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Able to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist warehouse personnel with order fulfillment if needed.
• Maintain minimum productivity of 80% within 60 days.
• Keep all certifications and licenses current and renewed by completing continuing education as required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct service calls.
• Identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate and timely Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Provide customer service in Inspecting, Testing, Maintenance and Repairs of Life Safety Equipment.
• Document testing and repair work for invoicing and customer copies.
• Ensure customer has all required documentation.
• Follow regulatory standards (State, OSHA, NFPA) and SOPs.
• Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
• Handle company assets per policy and equipment use.
• Maintain asset care as defined by policy.

Mechanically inclined

Read/write English

Proficient with hand tools

Educación

High School or GED

1 Certification (manufacturer/state)
