Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory services within the Safety Services group. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, identifying discrepancies, preparing reports, and ensuring proper documentation for invoicing while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Minimum 1 certifications (manufacturer/state).
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• TWIC Card and Basic Safety Council Card required.
• Mechanically inclined and able to repair/maintain safety equipment.
• Experience in inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of safety equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; CDL if carrying hazardous materials.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Able to complete repairs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Read, write and comprehend English.

Responsabilités

• Conduct service calls.
• Identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Provide customer service in inspecting, testing, maintenance and repair of life safety equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, gas detectors, respirators, fall protection, showers).
• Provide testing/repair documentation and ensure proper invoicing.
• Ensure customer has all required documentation on servicing equipment.
• Follow regulatory standards (State/OSHA/NFPA) and SOPs.
• Maintain assets per policy and assist in shipping/receiving as needed.
