Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory safety services in the Safety Services group in Houston. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, identifying discrepancies, preparing accurate documentation, and ensuring customer has all required paperwork for invoicing while adhering to OSHA/NFPA standards and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English (operational, process and quality instructions).
• Proficient with hand tools and able to complete repairs quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls to inspect, test, maintain and repair safety equipment.
• Identify equipment discrepancies and document findings in Technician Worksheets (TWS) and reports.
• Ensure proper invoicing by providing complete testing/repair documentation and required copies to the customer.
