Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory services in the Vallen Safety Services group. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Primary duties include conducting service calls, identifying discrepancies, and preparing accurate worksheets and reports for invoicing while ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and SOPs. This is an on-site role based in Pasadena, TX.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read instructions.
• Must maintain certifications and licenses current as required.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English for procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment.
• Conduct service calls and identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets and reports for invoicing.
• Provide customer service for life safety equipment such as extinguishers, hoses, and respiratory gear.
• Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory standards are met.
