Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Service Technician I focused on Instrument, Fire, and Respiratory services within the Vallen Safety Services group. You will perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs on safety equipment for established customers on a scheduled basis.

Responsibilities include conducting service calls, documenting technician work, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/NFPA standards while providing strong customer service and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct service calls.
• Identify equipment discrepancies.
• Prepare accurate Technician Worksheets and reports.
• Provide customer service in inspection, testing, maintenance and repair of Life Safety Equipment such as Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hose, Gas Detection Monitors, Respiratory Equipment, Fall Protection Equipment, and Safety Shower/Eyewash Units.
• Ensure testing and repair documentation is complete and submitted for invoicing.
• Ensure customers have required documentation upon servicing equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and Vallen SOPs.
• Commit to safe work practices.
• Assist in shipping/receiving and loading/unloading.
• May use company assets as needed.
