The Hillman Group's Robotics & Digital Solutions (RDS) team in Louisville is seeking a Field Service Technician to support self-service kiosks across Kentucky. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and install kiosks such as Minute Key, Quick Tag, EcoATM, and Pokémon to keep operations running smoothly.

This field-based role requires up to 80% travel by plane or car. You will build relationships with retail partners, manage inventory, and work independently to maximize uptime and revenue.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation with auto insurance.
• Able to use hand tools and troubleshoot mechanical equipment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service territory.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

About the Role

You'll be responsible for a territory of 50+ kiosks throughout the Kentucky area. This role combines technical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, inventory management, and customer relationship building to ensure our kiosks remain operational and profitable.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
• Reliable transportation with active automobile insurance
• Comfortable using hand tools and troubleshooting mechanical equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a service territory
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-3 years of field service, maintenance, merchandising, or related experience
• Electromechanical repair and maintenance experience
• Retail field operations experience
• Experience diagnosing and resolving mechanical or technical issues

Work Environment

This is a field-based role that involves daily travel between customer locations. No two days are the same, and you'll work in a variety of retail environments.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly
• Occasionally push or pull up to 100 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and driving
• Daily travel throughout the assigned territory, which may include driving up to 200 miles per day
