Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies seeks a mobile service technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment at customer locations. You will travel in-field, support service needs, and communicate results clearly to customers in a courteous manner.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior techs, maintaining parts inventory, documenting work orders, and adhering to safety standards while providing high-quality service on the road.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Experience with field service diagnostics and repair on heavy equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs in the field as required.
• Maintain inventory of parts on service vehicle.
• Mentor Service Technician and Apprentice Technicians.
• Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities.
• Be accountable for billable time and work orders.
• Document diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and submit on time.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle, tools and equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere products.
