Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies seeks a mobile field service technician who will independently diagnose and repair John Deere equipment at customer sites. You will operate a service vehicle, travel to locations, and document work thoroughly to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. A valid driver's license is required; CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; CDL preferred for driving efficiency.
• 5+ years of hands-on service repairs with strong diagnostic capability.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs and operate field diagnostic tools.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• In-field diagnostics and repairs at customer locations as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts on service vehicle.
• Mentor Service Technician and Apprentice Technicians.
• Document diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and submit timely work orders.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and keep work area neat and orderly.
• Stay current with John Deere and competitive products.
