Job summary

Greenway Equipment in Arkansas is seeking a Service Technician to independently diagnose, service and maintain John Deere equipment and other outdoor power gear. You will perform field repairs as needed and document all diagnostics and repairs on repair orders, ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus experience with diagnostic tools and John Deere knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues.
• Experience with computer-based diagnostic tools (e.g., Service Advisor).
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment.
• Performs repairs in the field as required.
• Develop a thorough understanding of all technology offerings.
• Accountable for billable time and documentation of repairs performed.
• Mentors Service Technician Apprentices and junior technicians.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations.
