Job summary

Greenway Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician in Brinkley, AR to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment, both in the shop and in the field.

The role involves documenting diagnostics and repairs, staying current on product knowledge, and maintaining tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, experience with diagnostic tools, and a positive customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in John Deere equipment.
• Experience using special tools and following Technical Manual procedures.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues.
• Experience with basic computer functions such as Service Advisor or equivalent diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment.
• Repair in the field as required.
• Develop understanding of technology offerings; stay current on John Deere products.
• Ensure billable time is recorded and document diagnostics/repairs on repair orders.
• Participate in required training to develop skills.
• Follow safety rules and regulations for work assignments.
• Prepare all reports/forms for work assignments.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintain vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Mentor Service Technician Apprentices and junior technicians.
