Dematic Corporation is seeking a Regional Field Service Technician 4 with a controls focus to join the Field Service team. The role will travel 100% across North America, with emphasis on customer satisfaction and system availability.
Overtime and weekends may be required, and the position is based anywhere in North America near an airport for travel. The role involves hardware and software troubleshooting, installation/adjustments on PLCs, sensor work, and customer training on semi-complex
Formación
- Trade school graduate or two-year associate's degree in a mechanical, electrical, or mechanical technician program.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Participates in semi-complex equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls.
- Leads training of customers on semi-complex products and services.
- Performs installation/adjustments on PLCs, sensors, and controls software from various vendors.
- Maintains documentation of inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures.
