Dematic Corporation is seeking a Regional Field Service Technician 4 with a controls focus to service and maintain Dematic systems across North America.

Under the Field Service Manager, you will train customers, perform installations on PLCs and sensors, and diagnose semi-complex issues to maximize system availability. This role requires heavy travel, including extended assignments away from home. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Formación

• Trade school graduate or two-year associate’s degree in mechanical/electrical tech.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Two years' experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGV/AS/RS or conveyors is highly prized.
• Willingness to travel >80% and stay away from home up to a month.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in semi-complex equipment trials, repairs, and overhauls.
• Trains customers on semi-complex products and services.
• Installs/adjusts PLCs and sensors using vendor controls software.
• Maintains records of inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Responds to semi-complex service calls.
• Assesses product/equipment performance from field data.
• Writes trip reports according to Dematic procedures.
