Job summary

Dematic Corporation is seeking a Regional Field Service Technician to service and repair installed Dematic systems and provide maintenance training at customer sites. The role travels across North America, with 80%+ travel and potential overtime, including weekends.

Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree (bachelor’s preferred) and at least two years in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, with experience in AGV/AS/RS or conveyors being highly valued.

Qualifications

• Trade school or two-year Associate’s degree in mechanical/electrical tech; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum two years troubleshooting electromechanical or mechanical equipment.
• Experience with material handling equipment and conveyors is valued.

Responsibilities

• Participates in semi-complex equipment trials, investigative tests, repairs and overhauls.
• Participates in training customers on semi-complex products and services.
• Performs semi-complex maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc., and documents inspections, maintenance and repairs.
• Responds to semi-complex service calls.
• Assesses product/equipment performance and recommends improvements.
• Performs semi-complex work within technical or paraprofessional areas.
• Identifies problems and takes steps to solve them; refers complex issues to others.
