Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to install and service our bulk cooking oil management equipment across the food service industry. You will install for new customers and assist with training through troubleshooting and servicing, with a focus on safety and reliability.

For existing customers, you will handle service, repair, and routine maintenance, coordinate with depot location in Columbia, SC, and participate in a schedule that may include night installations.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• DOT-regulated vehicle operation and pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to work within a team and solve problems.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
• Must maintain a clean driving record.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds and using ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain products safely, timely and accurately.
• Meet and control service labor per hour, 5S, and first-time-right goals.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, HACCP and internal procedures.
• Maintain parts and supplies in service vehicles and paperwork.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance.
• Provide training and coaching to customers on the system.
• Use iPhone apps for parts, notes, and clocking in/out.
• Night installation work may be required; schedule varies with demand.
