Job summary

Steel Equipment Specialists (SES) is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to lead installation and commissioning of SES equipment at customer facilities across the United States from our Alliance, OH location.

You will troubleshoot field issues, inspect mechanical and electrical systems, read blueprints, and collaborate with engineering for problem solving. Expect 50–75% travel with possible overnight stays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Relevant industrial or shop experience preferred.
• CAD experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and commissioning of SES equipment at customer facilities nationwide.
• Collaborate with customers during installation and startup to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide troubleshooting for field inquiries and address issues promptly.
• Inspect mechanical and electrical systems on SES equipment.
• Read blueprints and assist with machine alignment and assembly as needed.
• Travel to customer sites 50–75% of the year, including possible overnight stays.
