Job summary

Paycom in Mansfield, OH seeks a technically versatile installer/maintainer to support inmate telecommunications systems, phones, and video visitation. Daily data entry and strong customer service are essential as you work within correctional facilities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, wiring, and equipment maintenance, with travel across assigned sites and occasional overnight stays. High school diploma required; 2+ years telecom and IT experience preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years in telecom installation, repair, and troubleshooting inmate systems.
2+ years in computer/network installation and repair; VLAN & network config knowledge; VOIP a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Daily travel and work inside correctional facilities.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and service inmate technology systems.
Maintain and repair onsite telecom hardware, networking gear, access points, and wiring at facilities.
Address basic telephone repair and maintenance needs of the facility.
Meet all service requirements per customer contract.
Build and maintain relationships with facility staff and customer contacts.
Monitor time and control service-related expenses.
Deliver services promptly to ensure optimal system performance.
Provide onsite instruction and training for site personnel as necessary.
