Job summary

HeatTek is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site service, maintenance, and installation of custom industrial ovens, furnaces, and washers. You will travel to customer locations to commission, startup, and troubleshoot machinery systems, ensuring reliability and superior customer service.

Successful candidates will have extensive experience in industrial equipment service, possess a valid driver's license and passport, and be comfortable with 80% travel, including international

Qualifications

• Working knowledge and experience with industrial & control wiring, drives, gas trains/burners and pneumatics.
• Experience with industrial controls including PLCs, HMI, and variable frequency drives.
• Working with customers on equipment acceptance as well as equipment troubleshooting and service.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to obtain passport for international travel.
• Travel 80% to customer locations, drive/fly weekdays with potential for weekend and international travel.
• Perform installation, field repair, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of machinery systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-location service and support with maintenance and installation of products and other industry equipment.
• Ensure customer experience of reliability and superior service.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery systems in the field.
• Coordinate travel and scheduling for service assignments.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to resolve issues.
