Job summary

Heller Industries, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, retrofit, deinstall, and train customers on Heller ovens.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, perform in-depth diagnostics, and provide tailored solutions to maximize uptime and reliability at client sites across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The role requires extensive travel (up to 80%), weekend availability as needed, and the ability to obtain respiratory PPE certification for certain service activities.

Qualifications

• BS/AS in engineering or sciences preferred.
• 5+ years as an engineering technician or field service engineer.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical systems and SMT/semi equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support US, Canada and Mexico customers.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues at customer sites.
• Provide technical training at customer facilities.
• Document test reports and work instructions clearly and concisely.
• Provide diagnostic and repair procedures to distributors/customers.
• Perform root cause analysis on subsystems and components.
• Install, de-install, and upgrade machines in the field.
• Contribute serviceability input for new product development.
