Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors across multiple locations in the southeast region. You will use precision tools, read manuals, and support on-site commissioning and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
• On-call requirement with 1-week on-call period every ~4 weeks.
• Physically demanding role with lifting/moving weight.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating compressors.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to order parts and supplies for installations and repairs.
• Train apprentices and Field Service Technicians.
