Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors at customer sites in the southeast US, including on-site visits in several states. You will use precision tools and refer to equipment manuals to ensure proper operation and start-ups.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience with industrial mechanical systems, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel within a 3-hour radius.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial or commercial mechanical systems.
• Valid driver’s license for minimum 12 months with clean record.
• Must be on-call after an introductory period; initial 90 days not on-call.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components.
• Use precision measuring tools for diagnostic troubleshooting and commissioning/start-ups.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to order parts and support installations and repairs.
