Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors and related components across multiple locations in the United States. The role requires hands-on work and strong diagnostic skills.

You will interact with customers, coordinate with the Service Coordinator for parts, and train apprentices. This position often involves on-call duties and the ability to travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of troubleshooting industrial/commercial mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months with a clean driving record.
• On-call availability required for field service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, verbally and in writing.
• Provide hands-on technical assistance on pre-commissioning, start-ups, installations, and repairs of compressed air equipment.
• Promote services such as Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostics, Audits and Leak Detection to improve operations.
