Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and dryers in the local field service area. You will install, set up, and service systems, and you will travel to customer locations while reporting to the Service Manager.

You will join a team that promotes safety, on-call rotations, and ongoing training at the Air Academy. A High School Diploma is required, EPA certification is a plus, and the role requires

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics); HVAC a plus.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines; good customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low pressure components.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems; demonstrate learning in VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring.
• Document all service-related reports and forms; attend Air Academy training; follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with customers and Service Manager about repairs and options; on-call rotations with travel to customer sites.
• Possess basic mechanical and electrical theory; lift up to 50 lbs; use computers to complete work orders.
