Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Service Technician to service air compressors and related equipment. The role requires travel within the Dallas area and occasional out-of-town trips, with on-call duties rotating among technicians.

You will receive training at the Air Academy and work to maintain safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support. A valid driver’s license and fluency in English are required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical fields.
• Experience maintaining, overhauling and repairing industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• HVAC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Complete service-related documentation including service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, and parts return documents.
• Travel to customer locations, including out-of-town and overnight travel as needed.
• Attend training at Air Academy and work with senior technicians to learn advanced skills.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Provide high level of customer service and clearly present options for repairs or upgrades.
