Job summary

Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is seeking a Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, dryers, and control systems. The role requires travel within a 1–2 hour radius of Jackson, MS, and includes on-call responsibilities with potential overnight trips.

Training opportunities are provided at the Air Academy. The position emphasizes customer service, safety, and the ability to work independently, with a company vehicle and included equipment for

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics preferred.
• HVAC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service and troubleshoot/repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers and low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Service Technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Travel to customer locations, with occasional overnight travel; participate in on-call rotation.
