Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC is seeking a Service Technician to service our customers with high-quality, safe and efficient work. You will be based remotely, travel to customer sites within the assigned area, and report to the Service Manager.

You will train with senior technicians at the Air Academy and maintain thorough service documentation. You must have 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical field.
• High School Diploma is required; EPA certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel to training and to customer sites; reside within commutable distance.
• Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and related equipment.
• Install, set up and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn and apply knowledge on VSDs, refrigeration and remote monitoring.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow PPE guidelines.
• Complete service reports and other required documentation.
