Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC -North America Customer Center is seeking a Service Technician to support our remote field service network. You will service air compressors, dryers, and related equipment, install systems, and travel within a 1-2 hour radius around Chehalis, WA.

You will participate in on-call rotations, complete service reports and start-up forms, and train at Air Academy. Requires 1-2 years of technical experience, a valid driver's license, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance or electrical fields.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics) preferred; HVAC a plus.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Customer-focused and takes ownership of customer needs.
• Proficient with computers to complete work orders and trainings.
• Must supply basic required tools.
• Must reside within 30–60 minutes of the territory; valid driver's license; fluent in English.
• EPA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn about VSDs, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
• Pressure wash and clean the equipment pad surrounding the site.
• Communicate with customer and Service Manager about services and options for repairs or upgrades.
• Complete all service-related documentation: service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, parts return docs.
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Provide high level customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call with travel to customer locations.
• Random drug testing.
