Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC is seeking a Service Technician to service our products, troubleshoot, install, and maintain air compressors and related equipment. You will be close to customers, provide excellent service, and report to the Service Manager.

The role includes on-site and occasional travel to support regions, with training opportunities at our Air Academy. You will join a rotating 24/7 on-call pool and uphold safety and quality standards while engaging with customers to present repair

Qualifications

1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments including temperature extremes.
Valid driver's license and fluent in English.
High School Diploma or equivalent; EPA certification is a plus.
Willing to travel for paid training (Rock Hill, SC).
Residence within a reasonable commute to assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
Display willingness to learn about VSDs, refrigeration, and remote monitoring.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas; document all service activities.
Communicate with customer and Service Manager about services performed and options.
Complete service-related documentation including reports and forms.
Attend training at Air Academy and train with Senior Technicians.
Promote safety procedures and PPE usage.
Provide high level of customer service and respond to customer needs.
Participate in rotating on-call with travel to customer locations.
