Job summary
Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. is hiring a Service Technician to service customers remotely with travel within the San Antonio/Austin area. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair air compressors and related equipment, and complete all service documentation.
The role includes 24/7/365 on-call rotation with travel to customer sites. Requires 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical fields, a High School Diploma, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
- Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics preferred.
- HVAC experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, dryers, drains, controllers, and low pressure blowers.
- Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
- Complete service documentation and reports; attend training at Air Academy.
- Participate in 24/7/365 on-call rotation with travel to customer locations, including out-of-town and overnight stays.
