Job summary

Canon USA, a leader in technology, solutions, and services, seeks a field service professional to support customers with the highest level of service standards. This position is based in the Brooklyn/Queens territory.

You will report product failures, perform on-site maintenance, and maintain Field Service Reports, expense reports, and Canon property, while delivering strong customer communication and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and the 120‑day introductory period plus the PDIF new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel as required.
• Must obtain any security or customer clearances required to enter customer premises.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, and on-site maintenance.
• Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Ensure the performance of assigned machines.
• Facilitate performance at a level that helps achieve branch/district overall metric targets.
