Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Field Service Technician III to provide on-site technical support for motive power and energy systems in the assigned region. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain battery equipment, replace parts, and ensure safety and compliance during service visits.

The role requires travel to customer sites, strong documentation, and the ability to train junior technicians while coordinating with support and sales teams to meet service targets.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak English, and write documents (memos, reports) with comprehension.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and proportions.
• Ability to apply algebra and geometry concepts.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical/diagram form.
• Proficient with Internet software, e-mail, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate activities for installing equipment and resolving customer technical issues.
• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair equipment and ensure proper operation.
• Replace defective parts and reassemble components as needed.
• Install and maintain battery charging equipment and related systems.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and train junior technicians.
• Maintain performance records and communicate effectively with customers.
• Coordinate with technical support and sales to expedite repairs.
• Promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance.
