Job summary

BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install and support wireless communications systems, including UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz, DAS/BDA, and CCTV equipment. You’ll provide exceptional customer service while diagnosing and repairing complex RF devices and coordinating with teams on regional projects.

The role requires a strong electronics background, knowledge of two-way radio theory, and proficiency with test equipment. Some regional travel and on-call hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of service technician experience in diagnosing, repairing, programming and installing Motorola, Kenwood, ICOM, Vertex equipment.
• Understanding of 2-way radio theory and RF propagation across frequency bands.
• Ability to interpret schematics/diagrams and work with test equipment.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install and support wireless communications systems and equipment.
• Create programming codeplugs and configure RF devices.
• Diagnose, repair, and install DAS/BDA and related systems.
• Travel regionally and perform on-call duties as required.
