Job summary

IGT seeks a Field Service Technician to support customers across Northern Nevada. This hands-on role diagnoses issues, performs maintenance, and ensures gaming equipment operates at peak performance while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in a customer-facing role, a background in ATM or gaming hardware, basic IT networking knowledge, and the ability to travel 50–75% with a valid driver's license and physical lift

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on technical experience in a customer-facing role.
• Background in ATM, slot machine, cable, telecommunications, or similar field service work preferred.
• Basic understanding of IT, networking, hardware, and software systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Fintech, gaming, and loyalty equipment, ensuring systems are operating efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hardware, software, and networking issues to identify root causes and resolve problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and site surveys for new and existing equipment.
• Serve as the primary customer contact during service visits, delivering a high level of service and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts and complete service reporting in a timely manner.
• Travel throughout Northern Nevada, including overnight stays when needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
