Job summary

International Game Technology (IGT) is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across Northern Nevada. The role involves hands-on service, diagnosing issues, and maintaining gaming and fintech equipment in the field.

You will travel regionally, perform installations and preventative maintenance, and act as the frontline representative to customers, ensuring high-quality service and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience in a customer-facing role.
• Background in ATM, slot machine, cable, telecom, or similar field service work preferred.
• Basic understanding of IT, networking, hardware, and software systems.
• High school diploma or GED; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently (50–75%).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Fintech, gaming, and loyalty equipment, ensuring systems are operating efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hardware, software, and networking issues to identify root causes and resolve problems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and site surveys for new and existing equipment.
• Serve as the primary customer contact during service visits, delivering a high level of service and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts and complete service reporting in a timely manner.
• Travel throughout Northern Nevada, including overnight stays when needed.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
