Job summary

IGT is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair and maintain gaming machines at client sites. You will read wiring diagrams, perform preventive maintenance and upgrades, and ensure devices function correctly in varied environments.

Travel, overtime, and lifting up to 50 pounds are required, with a focus on safe and compliant operations. Requirements include a high school diploma and technical training; electronics experience is valued, and SAP knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Experience in electronics, repair, field service, or related industry.
  • Slots and gaming technician experience is a plus.
  • Must be computer literate and have documented technical experience.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of and experience using basic tools.
  • Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, travel to client sites, and on-call shifts.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for install, troubleshooting, and repair of IGT gaming machines.
  • Support technical teams to install, remove, convert, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare games in a field environment.
  • Reading and translating wiring diagrams.
  • Resolve technical problems and perform program upgrades and downloads.
  • Testing programs with verification devices and testing pay tables and device connections.
  • Install, repair, and maintain data lines, fiber optics, and telephone lines.
  • Provide knowledge share with customers on basic game functionality.
  • Maintain a positive image of IGT with customers.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for various install, troubleshooting, and repair of IGT gaming machines.
  • Support Technical teams to install, remove, convert, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare games, set options and repair games in a field environment.
  • Reading and translating wiring diagrams.
  • Resolve technical problems and perform program upgrades, and download set up.
  • Testing programs with various verification devices.
  • Troubleshoot with input and output tests.
  • Set up game options and test various devices.
  • Test pay table, reel strip and bonus awards.
  • Install, repair and maintain data lines, fiber optics, and telephone lines.
  • Knowledge share with customers on basic game functionality.
  • Maintain a positive image of IGT with co-workers and IGT’s customers.
  • In-depth user-level knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Provide recomendations for improvements to procedures, etc.
Qualifications
Education Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical or IT-related training or education is a plus.
Experience Required
  • Experience in electronics, repair, field service, or a related industry.
