Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, calibrate, repair, and maintain electro‑mechanical medical devices across a territory. You will diagnose failures, schedule service calls, and ensure quality service.

Provide customer training, document activities, and mentor peers, while traveling 50–75% and upholding safety protocols. The role requires an Associate’s or higher in Biomedical Engineering or related field (BMET acceptable) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or BMET certification with experience.
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform mechanical adjustments with independent judgment.
• Experience in healthcare environments and PPE protocols; strong verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair medical devices across a territory.
• Diagnose failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage service calls and travel to meet SLA commitments.
• Provide training to customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain documentation of service activities and inventory transactions.
• Mentor and support other service technicians.
