Job summary

Holt Co. through Texas First Rentals in Irving seeks a Field Service Technician II to service and repair construction equipment onsite at our Irving location.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs with attention to safety and quality while maintaining accurate service records. The role requires experience with heavy equipment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a busy field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Air conditioning certification preferred.
• Crane/Rigger certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and minimal troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Performs minor troubleshooting and minimal diagnoses of equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Removes and installs parts, disassembles and assembles basic components.
• Tests, makes adjustments, and verifies proper operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Prepares and completes all job related documents, writes service reports, orders parts, and maintains customer records.
