Job summary

Texas First Rentals, part of the HOLT family, is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Wylie, TX. This role performs minor troubleshooting and repairs on light and heavy construction equipment at an off-site location, with duties ranging from diagnostics to customer communication.

The position requires at least two years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain CDL. Travel and overtime may be required, with a focus on safety and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• More than two years of heavy equipment experience required; three or more years preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Air conditioning certification preferred.
• Crane/Rigger certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor repairs and minimal troubleshooting offsite with minimal supervision.
• Removes and install parts, disassembles and assembles basic components.
• Tests, makes adjustments, and verifies proper operation of all repairs and adjustments.
• Prepares and completes all job related documents, writes service reports, orders parts, and maintains clear customer records.
• Communicates job progress to supervisor and customer as needed.
• Operates equipment and vehicles with possession of all necessary licenses and certificates.
