Job summary

HOLT Group in Waxahachie, TX, is seeking a Shop Service Technician 2 to perform inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of heavy equipment for our Texas First Rentals unit. You will work to satisfy customer needs, follow procedures, and maintain safety standards in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Entry-level to mid-level position with 2+ years of related experience; requires basic toolset and ability to operate hand and pneumatic tools, plus forklifts/overhead crane as needed.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related skill/experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have basic mechanic hand and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses basic equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Disassembles and assembles basic machine components to manufacturer specs with hand, pneumatic, and specialized tooling.
• Rebuilds, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and components.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly work areas; comply with safety policies.
