Job summary
Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation on gas compression packages. You will learn from and assist senior technicians while progressing toward advanced duties with limited supervision.
You will diagnose engine and compressor issues, complete commissioning, and work in variable conditions, including travel and emergency services. Enerflex values safety, integrity, and customer service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical experience preferred.
- 5+ years applicable field experience.
- Understanding of CAT/Gas Engine Rating Pro (GERP) and similar OEM software.
- Experience with natural gas compressor packages and related controls.
- CAT Gas I/II and 3500 series certifications desired.
Responsibilities
- Submit accurate field service and expense reports daily.
- Provide basic leadership and training to junior technicians.
- Diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and start-up inspections with minimal supervision.
- Perform mechanical inspections using gauges and diagnostic equipment.
- Be available for call-out rotations and travel, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
