Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience, knowledge of CAT/Waukesha engines, and the ability to travel extensively, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• 5+ years applicable experience in field service for gas compressors or related equipment.
• Familiarity with CAT/Waukesha engines and related controls.
• Understanding of gas engine rating programs and OEM software.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and commission compressor packages in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Submit accurate field service and expense reports daily.
• Provide basic leadership and training to junior technicians.
• Diagnose engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and start-up inspections with minimal supervision.
• Perform mechanical inspections and use diagnostic tools.
• Be available for call-out rotations and emergency repairs.
• Travel frequently, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
