Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC designs and manufactures commercial food equipment and provides on-site service for Hobart Service customers across the US. This entry-level Service/Repair Technician 1 role involves installation, service, and preventative maintenance of basic mechanical and electrical equipment, with on-call, after-hours, holiday, and weekend support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 0–2 years electrical or mechanical experience preferred.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install basic mechanical commercial food equipment and assist in more advanced installs.
• Diagnose and repair basic mechanical and electrical food equipment on site.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document service activities.
• Follow Hobart Service safety procedures and policies.
• Support branch and financial objectives with quality customer experience.
• Maintain available parts, tools, and vehicle.
• Follow company policies and safety rules.
