Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site installation and service of commercial food equipment. You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, interpret schematics, and perform preventive maintenance while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment knowledge, supporting service objectives, and ensuring a quality customer experience. Occasional travel and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–4 years electrical/mechanical experience, or
• 0–2 years HVACR service experience with EPA certification, or
• Vocational HVACR certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Installs mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment and assists with advanced installs as needed.
• Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs basic mechanical equipment for customers.
• Interprets and follows schematic diagrams.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Adheres to Hobart Service safety manuals and SOPs.
• Provides quality customer experience and supports branch objectives.
• Keeps equipment knowledge up to date.
