Job summary

Hobart Service, an ITW company, is seeking a mechanically and electrically inclined Field Service Technician to service a range of commercial food equipment from customer sites. The role involves traveling from home base in Pittsburgh to locations as needed, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School Diploma or GED and 2-4 years of electrical/mechanical experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and ability to drive multiple hours daily.
• Overtime and on-call availability required; training at corporate HQ may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment.
• Typically leave from home each morning and work with minimal supervision at customer sites.
• Meet or exceed weekly productivity and customer-service goals.
