Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 3 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers, installing, servicing, and repairing commercial food equipment across HVACR systems. The role includes on-call, after-hours, and weekend on-site work.

You will interpret schematics, troubleshoot complex systems, and maintain documentation. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 4–7 years of equipment service experience, with EPA certification and CFESA/NATE/Hobart

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and 4-7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2-4 years of HVACR service experience.
Associates Degree or Vocational Certificate preferred.
Experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking and/or refrigeration equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install and service commercial food equipment including complex installs.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration equipment.
Interpret schematic diagrams and follow operations sequences.
Perform preventive maintenance and document results.
Maintain tools, vehicle, and inventory; support safety programs.
