Job summary

RXinsider LTD. in Chicago seeks a Field Service Technician to ensure accurate calibrations and timely execution of service tasks at customer facilities.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment, read schematics, calibrate devices, and provide updates to customers on preventive maintenance. Expect extensive regional travel.

Strong IT and networking skills, plus ability to lift 75 pounds and work independently, are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years as a Rees Technician or 3+ years industry experience with installations and repairs.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, or computer networking equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with test meters and diagnostic tools used in electronics and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills for professional interactions with customers.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring equipment in customer facilities.
• Verify setup and configuration of Rees monitoring equipment for proper functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues identified during calibration executions.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on electronic and mechanical components within Rees monitoring systems.
• Calibrate and inspect equipment to ensure accurate readings and regulatory compliance.
• Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation for repairs.
• Use test meters and diagnostic tools to identify faults and calibrate equipment.
• Review job plans prior to installation and update project status as required.
• Record data to support IOQ protocols and maintain inventory of parts on-site.
• Communicate with customers to provide updates and deliver exceptional support.
• Collaborate with technical support to resolve complex challenges.
• Travel to customer facilities within the region to perform duties.
